PHA Hyaluronic Peel

A gentle, hydrating resurfacing treatment combining polyhydroxy acid (PHA), proteolytic enzymes and hyaluronic acid. Suitable for at home treatment for all skin types experiencing any degree of irritation or sensitivity. Combining the poly hydroxy acid, glucono delta-lactone, with enzymes, makes this product extremely safe to use on skins that are hypersensitive to the application of other hydroxy acid types, like glycolic acid and lactic acid.  PHA is shown to be anti-inflammatory, which makes it a great addition to an acne homecare protocol.

PHA – Gluconolactone/Lactobionic Acid

Proteolytic Enzymes

• • Skin desquamation is driven by natural enzyme activity. As we age, the natural desquamation processes slow down because of pH changes and enzyme activity decline
  • Enzyme used in PHA Hyaluronic Peel exhibits a similar enzymatic profile to endogenous Cathepsin D. It maintains proteolytic activity at the stratum corneum (pH of 3.5 – 4.5).  It therefore exfoliates the skin in a very controlled and non-irritating manner.
