Helps, at many levels, to block the biochemical cascade that leads to pigmentation issues. This is achieved by blocking the production and activity of tyrosinase, the enzyme that leads to the production of melanin.
Fade Plus version contains 8% L-Ascorbic Acid, 4% Kojic Acid, 4% Alpha Arbutin & Glutathione. This serum is recommended for those who prefer and can tolerate a strong vitamin C serum.
Alternative Serum:
Fade Serum (here) does not contain Ascorbic Acid and is a skin-friendlier serum, with phosopholipids, Hyaluronic Acid, Xyloglucans and a pigmentation blocking peptide, Oligopeptide-68. Otherwise, it contains the same levels of Alpha Arbutin and Kojic Acid.

I tried this product over a year ago . initially I experienced skin purging. Which is an intensified rash , caused by active ingredients that are too intense. I then stopped the product for 3 months ad gradually re-introduced it with 1 droplet on my affected areas at a time , after 3 weeks I was able to tolerate higher doses and once my skin completely tolerated it it did wonders for lightening my acne blemishes and overall skin complexion.
